What Are the Best Restaurants for Business Meetings in Carmel CA?

The Heinrich Team has a business lunch every two weeks where we talk strategy, help each other with current escrows, plan for the future, and wine and dine in our favorite Carmel restaurants! It’s a great medley of work and play. We get to build as a team while trying fun new menu items, interacting with the restaurant owners, and making new friends! Here are a few suggestions for the best restaurants for business meetings in Carmel.

SUR at The Barnyard in Carmel – SUR is new restaurant with a classy casual ambiance with delectable food, an assortment of craft beers, and a wine list boasting many local favorites such as Meiomi and McIntyre. The owner, Bill Lee might will likely tempt you with their already famous Bon Bon dessert dish, and they are well worth the extra few calories! Some of our favorite’s for lunch are the beet salad, fish tacos, and soft shell crab sub! We enjoy the elevated orientation of the restaurant, and well lit dining area from the beautiful windows. Great start Bill!

Edgar’s | Quail Lodge Dining – Edgar’s is a great business venue with Quail Lodge golf course views, consistently delicious food, and professional wait staff with servers who really know what they are doing. We like to request the ‘Captain’s Room’ for our meetings because it gives us a quiet space to get work done until our lunch is ready! We love the grass-fed burger, sand dabs, and sirloin steak sandwich! Here’s a link to their full menu!

Rio Grill – In addition to a great lunch venue, we host our holiday parties at the Rio Grill, and owner Tony Tollner is kind enough to let us rent one of the rooms for the evening! For lunch, we love the seafood stew, prawn wrap, daily tacos, and last week’s catfish special – wow! The list goes on!

Our Criteria for Choosing Best Restaurants For Business Meetings in Carmel

Selecting a great restaurant for a team meeting is a short, fun process! This is the criteria we use for choosing the best restaurants for business meetings in Carmel.

#1 Location

Our Coldwell Banker office is at 126 Clock Tower Place off Carmel Rancho Blvd, so we look for places that are not too far away. Edgar’s is a quick escape into the valley as it only takes about 5 minutes to get there, but SUR is within walking distance, and Rio is a quick drive.

#2 Environment

We have a small team of five, but it’s important for us to have enough space to spread out our tablets and notebooks. We also need a relatively quiet space so we can listen to each other clearly.

#3 Cuisine and Service

We love good food, so we select restaurants that consistently deliver great dishes and great service, simple as that!

Where Else in Carmel Do We Eat?

There are many other restaurants we rave about such as the Carmel Valley Ranch, Il Fornaio, Extravaganza, Cafe Rustica, and more, but these are the places we frequent the most for business meetings. Do you have a restaurant where you bring your team that we didn’t mention? We would love to hear about it in the comments below!
