Halloween in Pacific Grove

It’s fun to take your little ghouls and goblins out trick-or-treating on Halloween. So much so they usually want the festivities to last longer than one night.  We’re sharing ideas for Monterey County Halloween events on our blog and this post pertains to Halloween in Pacific Grove.

The Library is not just for Book Worms

Halloween in Pacific Grove starts at The Pacific Grove Public Library.

On October 28th there’s an all-age spooky Haunted House. This annual event runs between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. On the 29th they have their usual “Wacky Wednesday” set of activities that includes stories, games, science projects, and more. There are even stories for babies and toddlers the morning of the 30th. For more information about Halloween-inspired events at the Library, you can check their events calendar, or give their Reference Librarian a call at (831) 648-5762. If you’re on Facebook, you can like their page to stay in the loop.

Dressed up as a Butterfly

Enjoy this one time of year when all can get dressed up, have some fun, and appreciate the fall in a very special way. Look up on Halloween to see if any of the beautiful Monarch butterflies have made their way to our sunny winter home yet; they make the 2,000-mile journey every year, beginning right around Halloween.
