Ben’s Live Tour of Carmel Valley Ranch

This week Ben Heinrich takes us on a tour of Carmel Valley Ranch on Facebook Live. Find us here on Facebook! First you’ll notice the beautiful swing set with the kids playing and having fun. Swing happens to be one of the Pinot Noir labels featured in the Ranch!

As we walk up the concrete path toward the entrance, we find the stunning fountain with views up to some of the rooms for hotel guests. Upon entering Carmel Valley Ranch, we find the lobby with beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, and natural light. We then find the gift shop where visitors can also check in to the spa. Kids roam the lobby area with their families while they plan their day and start the morning. We visited with some nice kids who planned to see the chickens that day!

Ben spoke with Kate, who is in charge of the bee experience. Kids get to learn about how honey is made and how bees help our world go round. The kids put their bee suits on and go inside the actual hive! An organized activities calendar shows the list of adventures for the day. Rachael was in charge of a treasure hunt for the kids similar to geo-caching. We can’t think of a more enjoyable morning for these lucky children!

Next we find the pool area where at night, adults and kids enjoy s’mores at the fire pit. We were there in the morning, but when the sun comes out, the pool area is full of action. Ben and I mosey through the dining room and find many families enjoying breakfast. We venture outside towards the back where bocce ball, vineyards, and an outdoor patio await. We hope you enjoyed this tour of Carmel Valley Ranch! Where should we tour next? Let us know in the comments below!
