The story of Monterey Bay is a story of the ocean, its mysteries, its rich life forms, and the efforts you have put forward to preserve it. It’s our story.
Previously, we posted a detailed article on Big Blue Live: you can find that post here. What we’d like to do now is remind you that PBS and BBC will soon air an amazing, live, unfolding tale. In conjunction with Monterey Bay Aquarium, PBS’ Big Blue Live will air August 31 – September 2, from 8 – 9 p.m. ET, and as well, for us on the West Coast, from 8 – 9 p.m. PT.
The PBS/BBC presentation will feature live feeds from ocean view decks, and from out on the bay. You’ll see blue and humpback whales, sea otters, dolphins, sea lions, seabirds, and underwater kelp forests. To find out more about this broadcast, visit Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Web page, or PBS’ original press release on the same.
