I’ve had some recent discussions with property owners and architects over the effects of the Coastal Commissions’s recent declaration of “maritime chapparal” as environmentally sensitive habitat.  Here’s a link to an editorial on the subject from Paul Miller of our local Carmel Pine Cone newspaper.  I believe he has it right, especially considering the recent events with the Big Sur fire.  Tell us what you think.
