I can’t believe I was invited to be a judge for the CSUMB Startup Challenge, a huge honor after having competed 8 years ago as a senior at CSUMB during my Entrepreneurship class.
Having watched Shark Tank for years, it was a bit of a dream come true to have an opportunity to sit as a judge and help evaluate the companies to ultimately select a winner.
There were all different kinds of companies ranging from jewelry makers to coffee shops to robotics, winemakers, and beer gardens to name a few. The entrepreneurs consisted of a wide range of age groups ranging from very young high school students to middle-aged entrepreneurs looking to start new companies.
Isabel and I enjoyed reconnecting with CSUMB and look forward to hopefully doing this again next year!
