Welcome to Jerome’s in Carmel Valley Village
Jerome’s has a peculiar effect on me – I liken it to a 7 year old walking into a Ghirardelli factory. It’s a quaint, unassuming little market in Carmel Valley Village, and when you walk in you are immediately greeted by a friendly face followed by utter confusion on where to begin because it all looks so good. Upon further inspection, you find that Jerome’s is abundantly stocked with all of the local goods you’ve been wanting to try – Lula’s chocolates, Carmel Honey, locally made sourdough bread, the list goes on. Then you notice there is a deli with phenomenal prices, and you stare at the menu for far too long before you order. There are locally made pastries and muffins, artisan crackers and snacks, local craft brews and not so local craft brews. It’s mind boggling the different ways you can spend your day all centered around one common theme – Jerome’s. Give it a shot next time you’re in the village, or make a special trip – you won’t regret it!
