Pebble Beach has some of the most famous golf courses in the world. Situated here on California’s Monterey Peninsula, Pebble Beach has been the site of many major tournaments over the years, including the U.S. Open and PGA Championship. The courses are known for dramatic settings and challenging layouts, which feature ocean views on nearly every hole. There’s a new course that has been generating great buzz throughout our community – The Hay.
If you haven’t yet experienced The Hay for golf or for lunch – they’re both amazing – we recommend adding it to your list of places to visit and things to do on the Monterey Peninsula. I asked my partner Ben Heinrich about his thoughts on the new establishment. Ben is a long time golfer and has played in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Here are Ben’s remarks – “The Hay is in pristine condition, just like its big brother, Pebble Beach, and some of the same views. Fun to play, easy to walk, and the setting is world class…”
Hay’s Place, the restaurant, is nothing short of delightful with gorgeous green and water views. The menu offers just what you would want after a casual round of Par 3 golf. Here’s Carole enjoying a sun drenched Fall afternoon at Hay’s Place with Ben.
