In recent months we’ve noticed tech CEO’s encourage their employees to work from home due to the pandemic. This has had a tremendous affect on our market because now tech buyers have more flexibility on where they can live. In addition, the home office has become more important than ever, and couples who both work from home are thrilled to see two spaces that could be used as offices. Buyers with kids are now dealing with learning from home, so while we don’t know how long that will last, those buyers are considering spaces for the kids to do their work, and probably spaces where they can work privately without too much noise. This is a very different trend from last year when many buyers sought after less rooms with a minimalistic outlook, so as work from home and learning from home progresses, it will be interesting to notice the evolution of buyers needs.
