Sur la Table
We’ve always wanted to take a cooking class, and recently we represented a young family in their home purchase who also loves to cook, so the four of us decided to take this course together. We were all very interested in learning more about using the wok to make traditional Chinese dishes. My former experience with making Chinese food consisted of buying a bottle of Teriyaki sauce from the store and pouring it over my chicken, so I was thrilled to learn more about how to really cook it correctly. A few key takeaways:
- The instructor was fantastic – he made it fun, engaging, and easy to follow the directions in a group setting
- A wok can open up many doors to effectively mix flavors and make unique dishes to get you out of a cooking rut
- Going to a cooking class with friends or family can be a great way to break out of the usual routine. It was a great bonding experience for us and our new friends.
