Ben keeps our Facebook page very current with the Carmel River activity, and we thought it would be fun to show you a collection of his Carmel River footage over the course of 2017. Follow his Facebook page for regular updates. It’s interesting to see the contrast of the water level pre- and post-rains. Our 2017-2018 winter has been fairly dry in Carmel until this last week of light rains. You’ll notice in the footage below we had some very strong rains last year, and we look forward to what mother nature brings in the coming months. As you can see in the last video Ben uploaded last week, the Carmel River is in need of a strong, healthy storm. Last year’s rains also opened up opportunities for local fishermen to cast a line where the river merged into the Pacific. I like the way Ben frequents the same bridge in many of these videos to show the comparison. This bridge is located near Quail Lodge. Keep an eye out for more Facebook Live updates from Ben in 2018. We also have an Instagram page with many drone shots, homes with beautiful views, and updates on our team activity. Follow us @teamheinrich.
