This year’s edition of the California International Air Show Salinas is its 35th! Since the beginning in 1981, it has always been and done two things:
1. It has been exciting.
2. It has helped charities, to the tune of almost $8 million dollars.
If you like the roar and beauty of planes, and you’re happy when you help charities on our Central Coast, then you should buy a ticket!

Mark your calendars for September 26 & 27, 2015. The doors and the show open at 9 a.m. each day. Either day, regular ticket prices are free for children under 6 years, $10 for children from 6-12, and $15 for General adult admission. For something really special, you may want to try to obtain a special Box Seat for $30. The show is usually a sell-out, so consider purchasing tickets in advance here.

As a special show stopper, you’ll see the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team. The plane is amazing! It’s a twin-engine, all weather, tactical fighter. It provides air superiority, but can additionally handle ground attacks, electronic warfare, and intelligence. It’s worth the price of admission, but of course many other planes and teams will be at the show, including:

• A USAF Heritage Flight
• The Canadian Forces CF-18 Jet Demonstration
• The Patriots Jet Team
• Jacquie B Warda Extra 300 Aerobatic
• A flying tribute to the Doolittle raiders with a B-25 Mitchell formation
And more!
