Easter on the Monterey Peninsula | Planning
Planning Easter around great weather gives you so many options, and with no shortage of fun things to do with family on the Monterey Peninsula, Easter is an exciting time. Spring just began, our flowers are once again putting smiles on our faces, and maybe you have family coming into town for this special Sunday. The sun is supposed to be out all day, what plans do you have?
An easy beach picnic or Carmel Valley Village Park picnic requires very little planning, and provides a full afternoon of fun. Head over to 5th Ave Deli or Bruno’s for sandwiches, fruit, and pasta salads, then venture to your favorite picnic spot in town and enjoy the holiday with loved ones. Some of the more formal events for Easter on the Monterey Peninsula are listed below:
Easter on the Monterey Peninsula | Brunches
Some of our favorite restaurants are serving Easter brunch!
- The C
Easter on the Monterey Peninsula | Egg Hunts
The Big Sur River Inn will be having their annual Easter egg hunt this year, as well as the Seaside Oldemeyer Center, and Quail Lodge.
Easter on the Monterey Peninsula | Walking it Off
After a big brunch, a casual stroll with pretty scenery can be the perfect way to round out the day. Pacific Grove has a beautiful walking trail near Lover’s Point, and Point Lobos is always a beautiful way to spend the afternoon looking at the seals and watching the waves come in.
You might even be able to catch a sunset at Carmel River State Beach to end your evening.
Asilomar State Beach is beautiful this time of year and would be a great place to walk and watch the sun go down with the kids.
Happy Easter from The Heinrich Team, we hope you have a wonderful day!
