‘Tis the season to be jolly, but how many homes sell on the Monterey Peninsula in December compared to an average month?

A)  92% of an average month

B)  86% of an average month

It may surprise you to know that December home sales over the last 10 years have averaged 92% of an average month.  Most people I talk to guess that it might be lower.  Although December is certainly lower than the average, it’s really not that far off.  Yes, signficant sales do indeed happen in the midst of the Holiday season.  Ho ho ho.
