If you’ve kept up on our blog over the years, you’ve probably seen a few posts on Carmel Valley Ranch. It is one of our favorite communities here in Carmel Valley. There are many things that make this place so special and desirable. One would be the absolutely stunning golf course. Another might be the wonderful restaurant and bar. Third could be the River Ranch amenities where you can be a social member, or the golf membership. There’s also Spa Aiyana and the lodge – one of the most relaxing places for lunch on the Monterey Peninsula. With all of these amenities and beautiful scenery it is no wonder why Carmel Valley Ranch has experienced such strong market activity in recent months. Here is a look at the recent action. Over the past year, just 9 homes have been sold in the ranch with an average days on market of just 26 days.

When considering if you want to live in Carmel Valley Ranch, home searchers sometimes will wonder if it makes sense to live in Quail or Carmel Valley Ranch, since they have some similarities. The golf courses are both lovely but different – Quail is much more flat and walkable, whereas Carmel Valley Ranch has dramatic undulation with beautiful views and golf shots. Carmel Valley Ranch has a mix of townhomes and single-family residences. Some have larger yards and outdoor living areas than others. Carmel Valley Ranch’s Summit and Fairway Lane properties which are positioned higher up into the hills can offer beautiful views of the golf course.
